Fixed gooseneck ball
Many hitch balls are of this type. It is considered a fixed ball, although in reality with a hand tool it could be removed by removing a pair of screws. If disassembled, the plug of the electrical installation and the "hole" where the ball goes is visible.
Horizontal removable ball
It is very similar to the gooseneck ball, although it usually replaces the screws with a pin that would allow us to disassemble the ball without the help of any tools. This system has the possibility of incorporating anti-theft system.
