2 TYPES OF CAR BAR FINISHES
With tips protruding from the sides of the vehicle
They have their advantages: more loading surface, ease of tying things and, above all, greater likelihood of reusing the bars for another car model.
Integrated with the vehicle
The tips do not protrude from the sides. Aerodynamically more efficient in most cases and aesthetically prettier, although for tastes the colors.
TYPES OF BARS FOR THE CAR
Steel
They are the traditional ones. They are usually a rectangular steel tube covered with black plastic. They are usually 30 × 20 mm. Virtually all accessories are usually compatible with them.
Aluminium
They are usually oval, a quality that eliminates the edges and causes them to be much more aerodynamic than those of rectangular section. They usually carry a rail along the bar, called aeroperfil, to which the accessories are fixed.
Wing
Without a doubt the most advanced. Its special shape similar to the wing of an airplane manages to reduce friction to the maximum, practically reducing the noise to 0 (it depends on the car model) and they have an insignificant effect on fuel consumption.
